Respiratory Support Products

Being a non-smoker and avoiding tobacco smoke is the single most effective step anyone can take to maintain healthy lungs and good overall health. Beyond that, eating foods that are filled with the vitamins and minerals necessary for good respiratory support is also quite important. Be sure to fill your diet with fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains that provide an ample supply of zinc, magnesium, selenium, potassium and vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E.

Improve indoor air quality by filling your home with living plants. However, avoid plants with flowers as these may cause problems with allergies and asthma. Consider using an air purifier to improve indoor air quality and also use a humidifier in winter. Be sure to practice good personal hygiene and especially keep your hands clean to avoid accidentally spreading germs to your mouth and nose, and subsequently your lungs. Talk with your health care provider about adding lung support supplements and/or asthma support supplements to your personal care routine, and turn to Vita Living for the very best in high quality supplements for respiratory support.

There are a number of things you can do in terms of your environment and personal hygiene that provide excellent respiratory support and lead to having healthy lungs. Staying well hydrated is also an excellent way to keep your lungs healthy. Drinking pure, filtered water in copious amounts helps keep mucus thin and makes breathing easier. You should drink between six and eight glasses of pure water every day for excellent lung support and good overall health.

Participating in light to moderate exercise at least 15 minutes a day will help increase blood circulation and improve respiration. Exercising vigorously for half an hour at least three times weekly can have wonderful effects on your overall health and well-being. Be certain that the place where you exercise is clean and has good air quality. Avoid exercising outside on days when pollution is heavy.
